Collection of DNA as well as collection of patient medical history as it relates to psoriasis and psoriasis related diseases.

Dr. Wayne P. Gulliver, MD, FRCPC Clinical Professor of Dermatology & Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland

The purpose of this study is to study the genetic make-up (DNA) of psoriasis patients in order to identify specific genes that may predict response and side effects to treatments you may have had for your psoriasis.

Also during the study we plan to study the genetic make-up (DNA) of psoriasis patients in order to try and find genes that may influence psoriasis patients to other conditions such as arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and obesity.
