CDF Practitioner of the Year Award

The CDF Practitioner of the Year is an annual award which was established in 1992 to honour Canadian dermatologists whose major income is produced from clinical practice and who have made a major contribution to dermatology and the community at large.

The nomination for the Practitioner of the Year is made by an independent peer group consisting solely of members of the Canadian Dermatology Foundation and the dermatology community. The final selection is made by the Board of Directors of the Canadian Dermatology Foundation.

A donation to the Canadian Dermatology Foundation is made in the recipient’s name by an industry sponsor bestowing on the Practitioner of the Year the status of Life Member, or Benefactor Life Member.

The Practitioner of the Year is presented with a commemorative plaque by the President of the Canadian Dermatology Foundation at the Annual Meeting.
