Astellas Pharma Canada Inc. Biogen Idec Canada Inc.

The CDF Colin Ramsay Endowment Fund. The first research grant was awarded from the CDF Colin Ramsay Endowment Fund in 2006. This fund was established thanks to endowments of $350,000 from BiogenIdec Canada and $175,000 from Astellas Pharma Canada. Dr Colin Ramsay (1936 – 2003) played a major role in the CDF and in the growth the Capital Fund, as a Director from 1984 – 1993 and President, from1993 to 1998. Dr John Elliott (University of Alberta, Edmonton) is the 2009 CDF Colin Ramsay Endowment Fund Research Grant recipient.
