How Our Funds Are Used

• All donations received are added to the Capital Fund; 80% of investment income is disbursed for research grants
  
  
• Applications for research grants are reviewed and evaluated by the CDF Medical Advisory Committee, comprised of competent dermatologists from across the country
  
  
• Funds are allocated to successful applicants engaged in dermatological medicine or research
  
  
• Awareness and understanding of dermatological disorders in professional, public, business and government circles are augmented
  
  
• Support for educational and scientific activities is solicited
  
  
• Opportunities to increase basic knowledge are supported
