The plaque, which was presented to Dr Lauzon at the CDA President’s Banquet July 1, 2006 in Winnipeg, reads: Dr Gilles Lauzon has been named The Canadian Dermatology Foundation Lecturer for 2006. This award is made in recognition of the excellence of his research and of his address on "Neighbourly communications between keratinocytes; relevance of the cross talk between proteins and lipids to malignancy".
