Gifts and Bequests

Gifts, bequests and donations from dermatologists, patients and corporate sponsors have contributed to the growth of the CDF Capital Fund.

An objective of the CDF website is to create wider awareness among the general public of the extent of research made possible by CDF grants. It has resulted in a growing interest expressed on the part of patients and their relatives in how they might contribute to the Canadian Dermatology Foundation in order to sustain research into a particular skin disease. Dermatologists whose patients seek a means of expressing their appreciation are invited to mention the Canadian Dermatology Foundation.

Commemorative Donations

The Canadian Dermatology Foundation gratefully accepts commemorative donations on the occasion of a special event such as a birthday, wedding, or anniversary, or to honour the memory of a dear friend, colleague, or family member.

All donors receive an acknowledgement, together with a charitable donation receipt. In addition, an individual letter is sent to the person(s) honoured, or the family, as appropriate.
